Travel information
Part of the adventure of the Arctic Circle Trail is visiting Greenland itself. The largest island in the world and an autonomous territory of Denmark, it is growing in popularity as a bucket list destination and offers adventurous visitors a unique mix of Inuit and European culture set within pristine wilderness.
The Arctic Circle Region encompasses the largest ice-free area in Greenland. It is this extensive backcountry that enables the Arctic Circle Trail and provides unlimited opportunities to explore by foot during the summer, or on snowshoes, skis, snowmobile, or dogsled during the winter.
We hope to see you here soon!
